Here is info about Christine Anghie, who wrote the book - _Asterix, The

Littlest Star_.

"I have been a middle school English and religion teacher for many years. The
books I have written were the answers to my eighth graders regarding unknown,
or little known Biblical characters from the New Testament. During my research
I came across a little known astronomical fact. In circa 6.B.C.a Chinese
astronomer noticed a star that had never been seen before and has not been
seen since - Asterix the Star of Bethlehem . I thought it would make such an
interesting story."

Here is info about Janine Daly, who wrote the script.

"Writing the script Asterix, The Littlest Star was both a challenge and a
joy for me. I usually write for adult audiences and I wasn’t sure at first
that I was the right person for the job. When I read Christine’s wonderful
story though, I fell in love with it and knew that I wanted to try to adapt it
for the stage. Hopefully, it will resonate with both children and adults this
holiday season. After a long career in the medical field, I have to admit I am
loving my “second act” writing and exploring other adventures in the arts. I
hope you enjoy Asterix as much as I do!"
