The Daily Painting Exhibition started seven years ago for the artists
participating in the class The Happy Habit of Daily (or almost daily) Painting
taught by artist MĂłnica Linares. Students in this class work together to form
the habit of painting every day (or most days!). That first exhibition was a
success and the group of artists exhibiting became a strong tribe that now
looks forward to this yearly group show.
This group of daily painters keeps growing as The Happy Habit class keeps
filling up every time it is held. The participants find this show to be not
only a motivation to form the habit of going to their easels, but a reward for
their effort of painting often...the best way to become better painters!
What makes this year especially meaningful is our celebration of connection—to
ourselves, to one another, to our broader community, and even between the
paintings themselves. These connections are the heart of what keeps us going.
We invite you to enjoy this exhibition, born from dedication, shared
experience, and the quiet power of daily practice.
