Apex Nature Park and Seymour Athletic Fields offer over 160 acres of recreational space, including playgrounds, lighted courts, and multi-use trails, with entrances located at 2600 and 2500 Evans Road. Starting January 1, 2026, we will implement a pilot initiative to expand morning operational hours, allowing all park entrance gates to open during all hours for an eight-month period.

Apex Nature Park and Seymour Athletic Fields offer over 160 acres of recreational space, providing both active and passive play areas. The park is accessible from two entrances: the main park entrance at 2600 Evans Road and the Seymour Athletic Fields entrance at 2500 Evans Road. Both entrances have parking lots, and there is a paved walkway that connects the two sections of the park. The park is open year-round from 5:30 AM to 10:00 PM, with fields, courts, and restrooms available starting at 6:30 AM. In the Seymour Athletic Fields section, you'll find a multi-age playground, lighted tennis and pickleball courts, multipurpose fields, sand volleyball courts, and picnic shelters. Additionally, there are multi-use trails and restroom facilities to enhance your visit. The Apex Nature Park section features an outdoor amphitheater, a disc golf course, paved paths with environmental education stations, and a dog park, which requires registration. Both sections also have restroom facilities for your convenience. Looking ahead, starting January 1, 2026, we will implement a pilot initiative to extend morning operational hours. This pilot will last up to eight months and will allow all park entrance gates to remain open during all hours. This change aims to enhance accessibility and provide more opportunities for our community to enjoy the parks.
