Detailed Summary
Our community parks and facilities are expanding, and I want to share some exciting updates. The North Main Athletic Complex is now fully operational, featuring an 1,800-seat stadium and various sports courts, including tennis and pickleball. Veterans Park offers a serene space with a memorial, accessible fishing pier, and fitness stations, while Jones Park includes a disc golf course and playground. Womble Park is a hub for baseball and softball, and Sugg Farm Park will soon feature a community garden alongside its existing dog park and trails.
For those who enjoy our greenways, we have multiple options for walking and biking. The Oak Leaf Greenway and Utley Creek Greenway provide paved paths connecting neighborhoods and downtown areas, while the Middle Creek Greenway offers a scenic three-mile route. The Carl Dean Greenway features workout stations for those looking to stay active outdoors. You can find an interactive map of these trails and more on our town website.
Additionally, our facilities are well-equipped to serve various community needs. The Holly Springs Cultural Center hosts performances and classes, while the Hunt Recreation Center includes a fitness center and indoor gym.
