careers in law enforcement. As a HSPD officer, you will be well equipped and
fully supported.

Salary

Candidates for Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) - $50,775
- Get paid while attending BLET
- Receive benefits while in training
- Eligible for overtime and compensatory leave
Certified BLET Graduates - $60,000-$63,000
- No prior law enforcement experience necessary
- Eligible for a take-home vehicle, upon completion of field training program
Out of State Lateral Law Enforcement Officers - $60,000-$72,000
- Begin working immediately while attaining your certification
- Must have a minimum of 2 years consecutive LE experience
- Military Police and Federal Officers are eligible
North Carolina BLET Certified Lateral Officers - $60,000-$78,000
- Incentives for years of service, certifications, education and military service
